Loss of a Dog
Dear Diana,
Our precious boy spent almost every waking moment with us he is the love of our lives & was taken to soon. How do we go on without this precious & special love? I am fortunate to have some quite strong intuitive feelings & thoughts. At the moment it is so hard, we cannot stop crying. Can you please help us?

Hello Jill and Dave
Firstly, I am SO sorry your beloved dog has passed over. Please remember that an aspect of his energy will always be around you even though his physical body is not. Of course, he will also be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.
Crying is a good thing – it means healing is taking place so just go with the flow of tears and don’t hold back. It is healthy to be able to grieve!! Trust me, the pain will lessen and you will be able to look back with fond memories of the life you shared with him, this will take time of course. Having lost many cats and dogs in my life and cried many, many tears for me re-homing another animal has always helped with my grief. It is not about replacing the pet that has passed, it is about giving another animal the opportunity to be loved. I do hope you will consider this once your hearts start to mend – and they will!
