Make a Fairy Tree

Make a Fairy Tree

By Aunty Susan

Make your very own fairy tree. Find a branch that’s already fallen; decorate it with tinfoil strips and anything you can think of to make it special. Plant it out in the garden or in a pot and invite the fairies in!

Description: P1000624What we used:

– A fallen branch
– a coloured feather
– tin foil squares
– poster paints + brush
– two coloured pipe cleaners
– craft glue
– 3 decorative sequins
– plant pot and soil

What we did:

We put the branch into a pot of earth. Squares of tin foil were wrapped around ends of branches. Some branches were painted. The feather was simply attached by wrapping tin foil around it and the branch. Sequins were glued on. Pipe cleaners were wound around branches. When we were finished we put the branch on the windowsill and invited the fairies.
