
Make your own Christmas Tree Wish Angel

You will need:
- A4 piece of sturdy card
- Scissors
- Craft glue
- Feathers (alternatives = wool, sequins, glitter or other craft items to decorate the wings)
- Tinfoil
- A selection of sequins, glitter and beads
- Cotton wool
- Red craft paint and small brush
- A cardboard toilet roll or kitchen roll
- Draw a basic angel shape on your card
2. Cut a slit up cardboard tube, fold over and glue. This will be used later to secure your angel to the top of the Christmas tree
3. Cut out your angel
4. Cut a square of tinfoil bigger than your angel and cover your angel in tinfoil with the scissors and glue
5. Glue the feathers onto the wings on the side which is covered completely in tinfoil
6. Glue a piece of cotton wool onto the body, in the middle of the feathers
7. Use the sequins and beads to decorate the face and halo
8. Use the red paint to create a mouth
9. Glue another piece of cotton wool onto the lower part of your angel
10. Put dots of glue on the cotton wool and sprinkle glitter over, shake it off carefully
11. Allow to dry properly (may take several hours)
12. Now attach your angel to the cardboard tube with glue and you may need tape also to make it extra secure
13. Allow to dry again completely
14. Place on top of your Christmas tree, make a wish, and enjoy!
