Diana’s Story
6. Venus, the puppy that changed my life
My guide Kumeka told me that I needed a dog!! After much research I acquired a gorgeous puppy who changed my life. She told me her name was Venus, after the high priestess of Atlantis, and she had insisted on specific markings so that I would recognise her from our past lives together!
Extract from Venus, the Diary of a Puppy and her Angel
Today I have learnt that children are terrifyingly unpredictable, noisy and jumpy and I’m not allowed to growl, bark at or bite the ones that belong to Mum. Actually I’m not allowed to bite any children. At eight o’clock I discover that Isabel and Finn, the older two, will be sleeping in my bedroom with me and Mum. Finn is on garden cushions on the floor and Isabel is in the big bed. I’m relegated to my basket. My angels repeat that I wanted to come to Earth to experience all aspects of life. Well I think I’ve changed my mind.
When I took Venus to the woods for the first time, to my surprise, she was scared. I pondered this when I got home, and then I realised why. She could see the elementals and was nervous of them. The following day I carried her into a glade in the woods. We sat on a bench and I called the elementals to come and introduce themselves to her. They approached from all sides of the glade. Suddenly Venus sat up, wagged her tail and jumped down to play with them. She has loved the woods ever since.
She has taught me a lot about angels and the spirit world. She has also taught me a lot about love.
As I write this Venus is 14. She has been the most fun, adventurous and wonderful companion, full of love and devotion and cheek.
