About Diana
Teacher, International Speaker and author of over 30 books, translated into 28 languages and producer of many card decks.
I was born on 7th September 1940 in the Himalayas and spent my 85th birthday in 2025 in Dharamasala in the Himalayas. Someone commented that it was a full circle, but actually my life has been more like a spiral.
I spent the first five years of my life in India for my father, an authoritarian man, was in the army and we moved frequently. My fey inclinations were very much disapproved of, and as a sensitive, ungrounded child, I ended up with little self-worth or confidence.
I married in my twenties and had three beautiful children. We lived abroad for many years. Then when I was getting divorced, I returned to live in England where I knew nobody. My parents totally disapproved. I could see no way of earning a living and was at absolute rock bottom. What a wimp I was! If only I knew then what I now know!! At that time, there seemed to be no light at the end of a dark tunnel. One day, I sat down, crossed my arms and called out aloud in desperation. ‘If there’s anything out there, show me – and you’ve got one hour.’ Immediately a beautiful golden angel stood in front of me. I knew nothing about angels, but I knew without a shadow of doubt that this was an angel. We flew together until finally we were above an auditorium full of people with rainbow auras. She told me I was on the stage for I was to be a spiritual teacher. When she brought me back it was exactly one hour later. For years, I assumed it was my guardian angel. However, I now know that she was Serafina, the Seraphim who is in charge of cosmic Ascension!
People expect me to say that my life changed instantly. However, I still often felt hopeless and despairing. But I knew there were angels waiting to help me.
I trained to become a hypnotherapist and set up in practice. I was aware of angels around my clients, but I didn’t engage with them.
I married again very briefly and then moved house again to start a new phase of my life. It was now 10 years since the first angel visitation, and I was seeing one-to-one clients and running classes. One evening I lay in the bath and asked for guidance for my classes. To my astonishment an angelic voice replied like a golden thought directly into my mind. ‘We want you to tell people about angels.’ I was completely horrified and replied that I didn’t want to do that for people would think I was crazy. Then the angels said the words I have never ever forgotten. ‘Who is doing your work? Is it your ego or your Higher Self?’ At once I agreed I’d do it and jumped out of the bath. With a towel round me I sat on the bed and three angels stood in front of me, rather like shining lights and gave me information about the angelic realms. I wrote New Light on Angels based on what they had told me.
No sooner was New Light on Angels published than I was invited to appear on morning TV to talk about angels. In the studio, the producers asked if I would mind having my aura photograph taken. I naturally said that I would be delighted. As I sat down in front of the aura camera, I asked my angel to step into the photograph, for I thought that people would sense its light. To my shock and that of everyone else, my angel and guide impressed themselves onto the aura photograph. You could see the round head of the angel, a wing tip, a gold bar reaching to my guide and rays of golden light pouring through the picture. As a result, the telephone lines were in meltdown as the programme received 114,000 calls. I was invited to return the following day because so many people wanted to talk about their angel experiences that they had never dared to speak of before!
A few months after the angels reappeared in my life, I met Kumeka, who is a Lord of Light, and a very high aspect of my Monad. He has never incarnated but he guides me. Recently I fully merged with Kumeka, and then Merlin stepped in as my main guide.
In 2002 under Kumeka’s guidance I set up the Diana Cooper School of Angels, now the Diana Cooper School of White light. And I continued to write many books about angels, dragons, unicorns, orbs, ascension, enlightenment, transformation and more.
Since then, I have gone through the challenges (initiations) of cancer twice and experienced two near death life reviews. I have learnt to connect on the daily basis with the angelic realms and the masters and my Monad has renegotiated my life contract to remain on Earth in Service for a while longer.
Now Merlin has asked me to create a Magic School of the Higher Heart with him and to take people into higher Ascension and enlightenment. My recent workshops and courses, online and in person, have been focused on this.
Life is an incredibly exciting adventure.
