Alexandra’s Tree

Alexandra’s Tree

Hi Alexandra,

Thank you for sending in your painting of a Celtic Willow. Since you obviously identify with it, you are probably seeking to enhance your psychic abilities.

Though the tree appears extremely slender and feminine, it seems to combine the divine masculine and the divine feminine for the two distinct egg-like objects at the bottom of the tree, come together to create a third. The sun (the divine masculine) and moon (the divine feminine) energies intertwine and seem to be represented by the intricately connected spirals along the trunk of the tree suggesting that you are abundantly nourished by both. This union of opposites is further indicated by the four heart shaped branches at the top of the tree.

The Celtic Willow, as we know, was deeply revered by the Druids for its affinity to the watery domains. Your identification with it indicates that you desire to clear your mind of clutter in order to see and understand things clearly from a mystical perspective. Being creative and blessed with intuitive intelligence, you intuit that, like the willow which is a medicinal tree, you too can, with your own powers, help heal others.

Resilience and flexibility are also your strengths for, like the willow which is innately flexible, you have the ability to take life as it comes rather than fight it and break down under stress.

Stay blessed, stay happy and enjoy your spiritual journey.
