And so the Spring Solstice on Saturday 20th March is with us again, heralding new beginnings and a release from the chains and confines of winter and lockdown. The February new Moon had six planets in Aquarius, so the window of opportunity and freedom opened a crack then. The Spring Solstice this month enables us to open wide the window to the new.
After so much of the world has been purified this winter through snow and floods this indicates a time of respite for us. Let’s enjoy it while we can!

Texas and snow. why?
My heart goes out to the people of Texas. What a terrible ordeal they have gone through. No electricity with all that means, and sub-zero temperatures in houses not designed to withstand the cold, let alone frozen pipes. And then water that was not drinkable. I can’t imagine how horrific it was for many people.
And while Texas was undergoing their crisis, according to the BBC, 73% of the United States was under snow at that time. Even in the UK there has been snow over much of the country.
This winter Archangel Gabriel, who is always present when there is snow, decreed that Texas and much of the US needed to be purified so snow fell in places that had never seen it before. There were so many other lessons too. In times of crisis people come together to support each other. Furthermore when people in first world countries are without electricity or clean water they start to appreciate what it is like for people who have never had those luxuries. It is hoped that compassion will spread into action.
I was remembering how, after the war in 1947, when the UK was on its knees, people were thin and undernourished after years of deprivation – and then we had the coldest winter when the Thames froze over. I used to wonder why there was no compassion from the angelic realms. But of course, they work according to spiritual law. And the top priority was purification after the war.
The new moon on February 11th with six planets in Aquarius was another step into the new energies of community, togetherness and working for the higher good. It is so interesting how many people I have met who have taken new decisions since that date. Things are moving onward and upward.

Diana’s story
I love Archangel Gabriel and his presence is everywhere. When I was in hospital a few years ago I had a very personal experience with him. The nurse brought me a blood transfusion at midnight. I thought, ‘Help! Now I have to sit up half the night and bless this blood and send thanks to the donors. I’ll be exhausted in the morning.’
Suddenly Archangel Gabriel arrived in a flash of brilliant white, with his wings outstretched. He sat on the chair by my bed and said, ‘Surrender. I will bless your blood.’ And I just let go. When I woke in the morning he was still sitting by me, waiting to bless the next transfusion.
When you surrender to Archangel Gabriel he can help you in a million ways. He protects you, heals you, lights you up, opens new doors. Just remember to ask.
A crystal to work with Archangel Gabriel
Archangel Gabriel is pure white, so choose a clear quartz. Hold it in your hand and blow on it to clear any old energy or programming. Tell it you only want it to hold fifth dimensional light. Then hold it to your third eye and tell it what you want it to do, e.g. to keep your energy pure at work or help you to make friends with someone or give you clarity about a situation.
An activation Grid with Archangel Gabriel
Find a white cloth if possible.
Make a circle of quartz crystals or white pebbles on it.
Put your intention or wish in your crystal and place it in the centre of the circle.
If there is room light a candle and place it in the circle too.
Ask Archangel Gabriel to activate your intention.
Remember to add, ‘only if this is for my highest good.’
Know that if something is not for your highest good it is not for anyone else’s either!
Thank him and start to look for any indications that things are changing.

Let me tell you a story. A friend wanted some Archangel guidance about cutting away from her business partner. As she unwrapped the cards from their sacred cloth, I remarked, ‘If you get Archangel Metatron, then your business will shoot ahead when you have detached from her.’ The first thing that happened as she picked up the cards was an Orb card of Archangel Metatron fell out of the deck! I have no idea how it got there. She shuffled, spread out the deck and I asked for three cards. She drew out Archangel Metatron and we both stared at it open mouthed. What a double confirmation that she was doing the right thing by setting out on her own! The second card was Archangel Azriel. He is the Archangel present during transitions and she knew that he would guide and cocoon her through the major changes ahead. The third one validated something else for her. Archangel Gersisa came in to remind her that her work was not just about herself. She was in service to the planet. Although she knew this, she found it really helpful to receive this confirmation.
